Impressions have traditionally involved making a mold of your teeth using trays filled with a soft, messy, and often bad-tasting material that would harden around the patient’s teeth and gums, creating a precise model that is then used by the doctors and the lab to plan treatment and create final restorations.

This new technology allows us to create highly accurate digital scans that include the full arch. The 3D visual images are almost immediately available for viewing, making this a significantly more efficient process than the previous method of using trays filled with impression material. In addition to providing a more efficient, accurate, and detailed 3D view, the streamlined scanner wand also allows for a more comfortable patient experience. This new technology is not only faster and more comfortable, but it also delivers an extremely high degree of accuracy and facilitates the treatment process from planning to completion.
